Best Mexican food around, great service and you cant beat the price!

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. We surely enjoyed the vibes of this place. First-rate place to take the family out for dinner.

I had the grande burrito. It was okay. My guest had the shrimp salad and was very pleased. The people next to us had the sizzling fajitas, that smelled wonderful. Wish I would have ordered the fajitas.

The Sunday brunch is excellent all u can eat,fresh omelette, waffle,endless mimosas. Service was even better. It's a must go

Spacious, quiet dining area with good ambience. The comprehensive menu offers something Mexican for everyone's tastebuds. My friend and I enjoyed the steak and shrimp fajitas when we dined here last time. They were scrumptious! Staff was attentive and friendly, too.

The food is healthier than most mexican restaurants. No greasy tacos. None of their deep fried foods are greasy. Not sure how they do it. Prices aren't ridiculously high.

Awesome Sunday brunch, complete with mimosas, micheladas, and other such brunchy libations!

Probably my favorite Mexican food places in the East Bay.... I am OBSESSED with their spicy green salsa and could pretty much just eat that... some days it's SUPER hot and I can't get enough! The only reason for 4 stars is their chili relleno's are not consistant.... sometimes we'll get a nice sized chili with tons of cheese and other times they'll give us two long skinny chilis with barely any filling... no bueno. Otherwise, great place.

Excellent! Everything was. Server was polite, food was quick and tasty! I ordered a fried ice cream for dessert and ended up having to get it to go. I was too full from my bomb fajitas!!

We had a birthday party there a few months ago. Good was Moore than enough and the atmosphere was just delightful. My uncle had the best time and so did our family!!!😃

I had been here years ago and was not that impressed, but this time was different. They had a great selection, prices were not bad, food was very tasty, people were friendly, and the only minus was the wait for a table and for the food. It was Father's day (night) though, so maybe this is not normal.The food was so tasty that I worry that it must not be very healthy, but so what. :-)

Enjoyed this meal! Got the enchiladas. I like to mix my rice and beans but they separated them. Food was good but the enchilada sauce is missing something to make it pop. Service was awesome, definitely going back.

They have great food and they have great costumer service and good atmosphere.

The food was great. All of us at our table ate everything and they have huge servings! I usual frequent the one in Sacramento which is beautiful and festive. Would have liked to have seen a little more decorations because it looked like any other restaurant. But what the hell the prices were decent.

Delicious food. Good service. Good prices. Fajitas are amazing. They have a Sunday brunch with all you can drink mimosas. If you have a Sunday with nothing to do it is awesome.

A good service that they provide. And the environment of the restaurant is so wonderful and the food brings memories like from my home country. 10/10 Recommended

Food was amazing and service was prompt and courteous. I went in about midday after lunch, I had the carnitas plate with corn tortillas. The portion was generous and everything tasted delicious!

Come here regularly...nice atmosphere, great food and drink. Although the plates arrive at your table hot, the food itself, might not be. Maticulously clean restrooms.

I've been eating at El Tapatio since I was in college for a total of 30+ years at the College Square location. It's a great place for fresh authentic Mexican food run by the nicest family. I recommended this restaurant to a friend and she was very impressed as well with the food and she got a margarita to go. The lunch or dinner special is great for a small amount of food for a great price. The BCR burrito is a very good size and makes for one large meal or 2 small ones. The margaritas I've had are made with high quality liquor. I highly recommend this restaurant for friendly staff and consistently high quality Mexican food!

My husband and I started coming here with his parents over 20 years ago. We’ve seen it rebuilt twice! It’s housed our family’s most important events such as bridal showers, baby showers, surprise 40th birthday’s, anniversary parties and even memorials. The original owners, the parents of the current owners, still visit the place weekly and it’s fun to see them and how the place has stayed in the family. The food is amazing! Our family craves it at least once a week. Affordable, friendly and delicious!

Family owned Authentic Mexican restaurant reminds me of my Great Grandma Mary's house. The food is fabulous and I love their house Margaritas. I literally haven't found one better. great place , food and the owner is so nice and long with his beautiful family, they'll make you feel right at home.

Yesterday was our first time we came to that place. But It is surely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the excellent service, with the first-rate meal and wine and with the friendly cost. We will absolutely visit there in a short time.

Move along, nothing to see here. I ordered the two beef taco plate. They were crunchy tacos, not traditional, with shredded beef, lettuce, cheese and unfortunately mild red sauce that was very sour. This same red sauce is served with tortilla chips. All this could be dismissed if it wasn't for the bad service. Only once did they check up on us within two minutes after serving our food. No refills on drinks, or seeing if we needed anything. We finished our meal and waited for the check. Tried to flag someone down, didn't notice. Finally were able to get someone's attention to get our check, didn't come back to take payment. Got up and went to the entrance to pay.

The service here is fantastic. We're still in pandemic state so there's not many people here. Which is a shame! The food is delicious, it came out fast, and the service is friendly. What more could you ask for? 5 out of 5 for sure.
